Summer Day Camp - 3630100

Summer Day Camp

Required Medical Questionnaire is required and needs to be completed prior to camp registration. This is free of charge and can be completed at anytime.

We are looking forward to another year of Summer Day Camp at the Prairie Township Community Center! Camp will run from 8am-6pm for 10 weeks, and is open for campers aged 6-12! Campers will play sports, do art projects, and science experiments, swim, make new friends, go on field trips, and have a blast this summer! Registration for PTCC's summer day camp will be per week. CAMP SLOTS ARE LIMITED TO 75 CAMPERS PER WEEK. All camp participants are eligible to enroll in our payment plan. If you choose to enroll, an initial processing fee of $30R | $60NR will be required at the time of registration. All further payments will be drawn two weeks before your child attends camp. (Payment schedule available at www.prairietownship.org/410/Day-Camps ). Also, a discount will be given for additional children from the same family attending day camp. Each additional child will be able to enroll in camp at a 25% discount. ($112R | $135NR)

Non-Residents: March 21 at 8:00am

Creative Writing Fun: Mix It Up! - 3630202

Kidz Home Alone - 3630217

Would your child know what to do if they have forgotten their house key or the passcode for the keypad? What if they are home alone and they are choking? Our Kidz Home Alone class will give you and your child peace of mind when home alone. As creators of this class, we thought of every home alone scenario possible, and provide solutions for all of those ‘what-if’s”. This course is designed to teach your child about being home alone safely. An informative parent guide is included in the student manual and provides an avenue for discussion between parent and child. This engaging and interactive class is fun and includes guest speakers from the local Police and Fire Departments (when available). Ages 9-12.
Students will learn:

• Answering the door and the phone
• The reasons to call 911
• First aid and safety and Self- Heimlich Maneuver
• Why it’s necessary to have house rules
• Fire escape and severe weather planning

JumpBunch Superhero Boot Camp - 3631506

This camp is all about training to be your favorite superhero! To be a superhero means having strength, agility, balance, and speed. We focus on learning special superhero training skills through fun games and activities such as “jumping over hot lava,” “dodging fireballs,” “lightsaber training,” “scooter flying,” “ghostbuster tag,” and so many more! Prairie Baseball Clinic - 3631510

Join Taylor Watts and Megan Warren (Wright State Softball Head Coach) for this fun introduction to girls softball. These sessions will be based on basic defensive fundamentals focused on proper throwing mechanics with instructions of a proper throwing progression. Each team will practice once per week on a weeknight. Practices will be held Monday - Thursday, with practice nights determined primarily by coach availability. We will consider requests, but can't guarantee you will be assigned to your preferred practice night. Games are on Saturdays, with the potential of Friday nights or Sundays as makeup dates.
