Winter Break Camp is a great place for students who want to get out of the house over their winter break. Campers will participate in winter and holiday-themed arts and crafts, sports, and games, enjoy hot chocolate, decorate cookies, and more. Campers will also have the opportunity to warm up in the PTCC pool! Camp will not meet on the following dates (No Camp: 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1)

The league is open to children ages 6-12. Early-bird registration begins Monday, 9/8/2025 and runs through Sunday, 10/5/2025. Open registration begins on Monday, 10/6/2025, and ends Monday, 11/24/2025. All games will be held at the Prairie Township Community Center on Saturday mornings. All games will be officiated, and the score will be kept. Each team will practice once per week for the six weeks of the season. The purpose of this league is to develop fundamentals, learn the rules of the game, and help introduce participants to the sport of basketball. Prairie Township Recreation Staff will provide all equipment for practices and games.

The Prairie Soccer League is a recreational league focused on teaching and developing skills in a fun, safe, and non-competitive environment.

Each team will practice once per week on a weeknight. Practices will be held Monday through Thursday, and practice nights will be determined primarily by coach availability. We will consider requests but can't guarantee you will be assigned to your preferred practice night. Games are on Saturdays, with the potential of Friday nights or Sundays as makeup dates.

This class is great for the youngster who wants to learn a little bit about a lot of different sports. Besides learning the basics of soccer and basketball, we may also learn about sports like hockey, T-Ball, track & field and football. Parents are encouraged to participate and play along with their child. (No class on 11/28)
