The course will teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Participants that successfully demonstrate all required skills, and pass the final written exam with an 80% or better will be certified in American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid.
