Comment(s): School’s out! Now what? You provide the kids and we provide the what. The solution is Prairie Township Summer Day Camp. We run. We jump. We swim and play. The intention of camp is to give children a fun, active summer experience and provide an alternative to the typical child care experience. Camp location is TBD. Camp utilizes school buses for field trips. Children enjoy a mix of large & small group recreation activities, supervised free time, field trips, arts and crafts, games, and swimming at the Community Center's indoor pool. Our staff are dedicated to providing a high quality and fun experience for your children. Participants bring a packed lunch daily, water bottle/drink and an afternoon snack. On swim days, participants need a bathing suit and a towel.The Day Camp program is a “pay as you use” fee structure. You only pay for the days you send your child to camp, instead of paying for a whole consecutive week. This flexible system is incredibly beneficial to accommodate your busy summer schedule. There is a registration fee and a mandatory minimum initial purchase of 5 days per child. When you purchase camp days they are added to your card and taken off when you swipe your child into camp. Registration must be completed ONLINE only. Additional days can be purchased throughout the summer online or at the Community Center.
