Comment(s): Shotokan Karate is a traditional Japanese martial art. The study of karate is an inner search for growth and self-discipline, which encompasses many ideals. Students train in the basic exercises, such as: Blocking, Forms, Kicking, Punching, Self-defense, Sparring, and Stances. Sensei Jim Vallance has been teaching karate for over 40 years. Ages 6-12.
